Chicago, IL - - August 7, 2006 - - The Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club (not
affiliated with any other Boys and Girls Clubs) is finalizing details for the 2nd
Annual Riverview Music Festival to be held on Friday, August 25th from 5 p.m. to 11
p.m. and Saturday, August 26th from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the DeVry University
Campus, 3300 N. Campbell (Roscoe and Western).
This year\'s festival will feature the BoDeans, the Subdudes and Jackie Greene on
Friday with Umphrey\'s McGee (playing two sets), the Freddy Jones Band, Assembly of
Dust and ekoostik hookah performing on Saturday. Saturday will also feature an air
guitar contest and a Family Fest area from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. A complete festival

of Dust performing in addition to other VIP perks.
All proceeds from the Riverview Music Festival benefit the Neighborhood Boys &
Girls Club (NBGC), a local non-profit organization. The Neighborhood Boys & Girls
Club is dedicated to youth development through a year round multi-faceted program
managed mainly by student leaders where "everyone plays." NBGC offers FREE
diversified athletic, social, recreational, cultural, computer, tutoring and
scholarship programs for boys and girls 6-18 years old. The Club stresses teamwork,
sportsmanship, responsibility, leadership training and conflict resolution -
qualities that will continue to build "Better Men and Women." For more information

Celebrating their 75th Anniversary this year, the NBGC was founded by Robert O.
Buehler in the fall of 1931. Buehler former President of Peer Foods (Buehler Foods)
and former Mayor of Galena, IL passed away in May 2006 at 103. Seventy-five years
later, NBGC remains dedicated to Buehler\'s original concepts of leadership,
friendships and, most of all, a pride in oneself.
